We are thrilled to invite you to our annual fundraiser, an evening dedicated to celebrating the remarkable achievements of the Youth Marine Foundation. For years, YMF has been committed to empowering youth through maritime education, offering unique opportunities for young people to explore the wonders of the Puget Sound and develop essential life skills.

What We've Accomplished Together:

• Maritime Exploration: This year, we proudly welcomed all 7th graders from Tacoma Public Schools aboard our vessels, providing hands-on maritime education that ignited a passion for the sea. We expanded our reach by inviting new schools to join our programs and collaborated closely with SAMi and SOTA to integrate maritime exploration into their curriculum. Additionally, we launched successful adult cruises, offering community members the chance to explore marine ecosystems and maritime history while deepening their connection to the Puget Sound.

• Skill Development: Through our educational initiatives, participants gain valuable skills in seamanship, teamwork, and leadership. These experiences not only enhance their maritime knowledge but also build their confidence and prepare them for future success.

• Community Impact: YMF has fostered a sense of community and responsibility among youth. By participating in our programs, young people are encouraged to give back, whether through environmental stewardship or supporting their peers in learning and growth.

This year, our fundraiser will help us continue this important work. Your support will enable us to reach even more youth, offering them the chance to explore, learn, and grow through maritime experiences. Together, we can chart a course for a brighter future.
